Fête de l’Humanité festival: ‘1874-1974 : aux Sources de la Peinture Moderne, l’Impressionnisme’ (‘The Sources of Modern Painting. Impressionism’, INA).
This issue of ‘L’homme en Question’, produced by Jean Daniel Verhaeghe, is dedicated to Maurice Rheims and was broadcast on August 28, 1977. After his self-portrait, signed Anne Andreu and André Maurice, Maurice Rheims is confronted during a debate with Roger Garaudy, philosopher and writer, Laurent de Gouvion-Saint-Cyr, journalist, Jean-Pierre Jouffroy, painter and artistic director of l’Humanité Dimanche, Roger Bordier, writer.
This documentary by Michel Dumoulin, broadcast on TF1 on January 26, 1982, is dedicated to the painter Nicolas de Staël and supplemented by interviews including that of Jean-Pierre Jouffroy.
